Trouble
Dir: Theresa Rebeck (100min, USA)
Anjelica Huston and Bill Pullman play Maggie and Ben Farmer, estranged siblings feuding over the ownership of family property in this sharp comedy. When Ben takes the initiative and starts digging up the yard with a backhoe, Maggie pulls a shotgun on him. Logging rights, sibling rivalries, and the difficulty of forgiveness interweave as Maggie and Ben fight over what they have and what they’ve lost in this tender-hearted comedy. David Morse, Julia Stiles, and Brian Darcy-James round out the cast.
